What is Endocrinology?

Endocrinology is a subspecialty of Internal Medicine that
focuses on disorders of various glands and hormones.
Such clinical problems include diabetes and disorders of
the thyroid, pituitary and adrenal glands. Testosterone
deficiency and osteoporosis are also common problems
treated by an Endocrinologist.

What are the goals of the clinic?

The Cincinnati Endocrine Clinic's primary goal is to provide
consultative subspecialty medical care for adults to create a
complete endocrinology health care solution.

The clinic's philosophy is that optimal health and performance
can be attained through the proper balance of medical
treatment, preventive care and education. Education is an
important element in maintaining a good understanding of
what disorders a patient has, how they happen, and how
we can treat them.a
